Amazon Publisher Services launches Prebid Adapter in open beta

Publishers consistently emphasize the need for flexibility to use the technology that best fits their unique business models. With this feedback in mind, we announced the development of our Amazon Publisher Services (APS) Prebid Adapter last year. Today, we’re making it available in open beta to publishers globally, providing them with greater choice in how they integrate with APS.

The APS Prebid Adapter connects publishers’ current Prebid setups with APS, providing access to Amazon Ads demand and more than 60+ third-party demand sources through Transparent Advertising Marketplace (TAM) and Unified Advertising Marketplace (UAM). The integration delivers reduced latency while preserving existing auction frameworks.

This approach reflects our continued dedication to transparency, interoperability, and publisher control. By integrating APS directly with the Prebid.js framework, publishers gain several benefits including:

  • Seamless integration into existing workflows. Works directly within a publisher’s Prebid setup; no need to redesign existing architecture or shift monetization strategies.
  • Efficient access to demand. Connects Prebid auctions to Amazon Ads demand and over 60+ third-party buyers available through TAM and UAM.
  • Enhanced signal capabilities in Prebid auctions. Allows publishers to surface richer signal combinations during auctions, creating more opportunities to match demand against high-quality inventory.
  • Publisher control. Publishers choose which demand sources to activate, and which signals to share, while APS provides the infrastructure and insights.

Publishers can download the APS Prebid Adapter from the GitHub repository, and contact their APS representative to confirm eligibility and begin implementation.
